1/6th Plate Tintype of a Federal Officer - Inventory Number:  HAR 172 / SOLD

Standing 1/6 plate tintype of an early-war period junior Union officer. He wears a single-breasted frock coat with gold tinted bullion epaulettes and sports a "McDowell" style forage cap, as well as saber belt, holster, gauntlets, and an 1850 Foot Officers Sword.   The plate is framed in copper and housed in a full leatherette case. A daunting view of a Civil War officer image with good clarity.
