1860's Antique Candle Match Safe Case Holder - Inventory Number: PER 406 / SOLD

Measures 2.75" Tall x 1.18" Wide x .516" Depth. Has markings on the front, "C. PARKER", "MERIDEN, CT".  The Charles Parker Company (1832-1975) was formed in Meriden Connecticut by Charles Parker, and over the years manufactured products including this item here. Also Art Brass (now in museums), hardware, lamps, spectacles, and piano stools. Also related to the company were others founded by Charles Parker: including Parker Brothers (gun manufacturer.)
