1872 Voter Registration Broadside Grant vs Greeley – Inventory Number: POL 361
The 1872 United States presidential election was the 22nd quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 5, 1872. Despite a split in the Republican Party, incumbent President Ulysses S. Grant defeated Democratic-endorsed Liberal Republican nominee Horace Greeley a newspaper editor. Nice broadside features CDV of Grant and Greeley. Nicely frames, frame measures 16 x21. A true piece of Americana.
