FUZING:  Threaded fuze plug (missing)

It is similar in appearance to the Federal 20-pounder Parrott projectile, this example bearing a lathe stud near the top of the shell.  2/3rd of the original copper sabot remains.  Recovered at Fredericksburg, Va.
