27th New York Volunteers Ribbon Grouping - Inventory Number: VET 263 / SOLD

Collection of reunion ribbons of the 27th New York Infantry, which served in the 6th Corps of the Army of the Potomac from Bull Run to Chancellorsville. Eight ribbons pertain directly to the 27th, with three of those including members of the Survivors’ Association of New York, which included the 1st New York Cavalry and 33rd New York Infantry. The group also includes a 6th Corps ribbon, an Army of the Potomac Cavalry reunion ribbon from 1892, and a G.A.R. Post #35 ribbon from Brooklyn, New York. The ribbons are from 1885-1902 and would make a nice addition to a 6th Corps or New York G.A.R. display.

Comes housed in a 14 x 20 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
