2nd Rhode Island by Matthew Brady - Inventory Number: CDV 423 / Sold

Unmounted image of members of Company "G", 2nd Rhode Island Infantry in their makeshift shelter.  Taken July 17-18th by Matthew Brady in Centreville, VA.  Image depicts both men in the state issued shirts with the Model 1855 Harper's Ferry Musket.  The 2nd Rhode Island Infantry  was the only Rhode Island regiment to be issued the M1855.
