“Classic Civil War Cartridge Box"
Model 1855 US cartridge box in very good condition. The original "US" cartridge box plate is affixed via leather on the underside of the outer flap. Latch-tab is in solid condition. The inner flap is in nice shape and has both ears. Interior has both original tins and an implement pocket, also in good shape. The bottom of the box retains both roller buckles and round brass finial. Back of the box is in good condition with both belt and sling loops are solid.
