6th Michigan Infantry Cartridge Box / SOLD

Model 1855 Cartridge Box - .58 caliber leather box with original tins.  The interior flap contains several issuance markings as an ink inscription.  J. H. Wisner. Wisner swerved with the 6th Michigan Infantry throughout the war and was promoted in 1863 and served as an Officer in the 84th U.S.C.T. until the end of the war.
