Abraham Lincoln Mourning Ribbon with Portrait - Inventory Number: POL 201 / SOLD

Black silk mourning ribbon made just after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln on April 14th, 1865. The ribbon measures 5 ½” by 2” and features a copper framed steel engraving of Lincoln suspended from a pin backed brass eagle device. A scarce and exquisite example.

Comes housed in a display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
