Abraham Lincoln Mourning Ribbon - Inventory Number: POL 153 / SOLD

Silk mourning ribbon made just after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln on April 14th, 1865. It depicts a bust portrait of Lincoln surrounded by the words “We Loved Him in Life, We Mourn Him in Death,” as well as his birth and death dates. The ribbon measures 2.5 by 5 inches and is in good condition and a wonderful piece of Lincoln memorabilia. 

Comes housed in a 8 x 12 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
