Historically speaking, the 1st Regiment of artillery were some of the most heavily engaged regiments from any state as they enlisted early war for three-year terms. Great example with a pliable black velvet background. Crossed cannons made of gold bullion thread with a red center bearing a gold bullion thread number “1” on black felt backing which has been trimmed. 

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
