Pepperbox pistol by Charles Jones of 26 St. James St. London. Engraved with cast metal alloy frame, case-hardened barrels, blued mounts. The pepperbox measures 8-3/4” overall with 3-3/8” barrel group of .41 caliber, six shots. The barrels retain some original case hardening with normal fading and aging with considerable areas of rainbow colors showing lightly. The alloy frame is crisp with the high-quality engraving Jones is noted for. The pistol is stocked in burl walnut, and the grips are good to very good with varnish remaining.
