Civil War Bleeder - Inventory Number: MED 228 / SOLD

This “Fleam” or “Bleeder” was used in the practice of blood-letting or removing impurities.  This example features a horn case and three blades the middle blade is has large chips from the cutting edge, other blades fine. Displays well.  A neat medical instrument of the Civil War era.
