Civil War Era Leather Shot Flask - Ca. 1850 / Sold
Dark brown embossed leather bodied shot flask, which contained and dispersed small lead shot, or gun-powder for muskets. Made from two-pieces of leather sewn together to form an elongated oval. Leather is sturdy and seams are tight. Both sides are embossed with floral design. Measures approximately 5 inches without stopper.
