A classic relic condition Civil War utensil set carried by soldiers in their haversacks, as a part of their mess set. These would consist of a tin plate, cup, fork, knife, and spoon. The knife and fork would either be wood or bone handled, and the mess spoon die struck from tinned sheet iron. Two tine fork. A wonderful ensemble for a Civil War camp display.
