Civil War Field Drum - Inventory Number:  MUS 134 / SOLD

Recently Deaccessed from a New England Museum

Classic Civil War manufactured example with original ropes, ears and heads.  The excellent condition maple body is adorned with ornamental domed brass rivets. The original rope is very pliable and the leather ears in good condition. The rims still retain their original red paint. The drum measures 16 ¼” by 14”. This is a great example of the classic Civil War drummer boy's drum!
