Civil War Field Telescope / SOlD

Civil War era collapsible field telescope. Three brass sections draw out from the body of the scope, which is covered with a light colored wooden sleave. The eyepiece is opened and closed with a small, sliding brass aperture. The brass on this scope has a pleasing mellow patina. Fully functional with clear optics. The scope is a very compact size, measuring 6” collapsed and 17” fully extended. A pocket sized, functional Civil War optic.
