Civil War Fife with "Cheater" - Inventory Number: MUS 130 / SOLD

Excellent condition example with brass furrells and Civil War Fife Mouthpiece.  Sometimes also referred to as a Fife Cheater.  These would be fitted over the blow hole of a fife, so it could be played simply by blowing into it and with no training to play it in the traditional way. It's made of Pewter with a brass tightening screw.  Body of fife is constructed of rosewood and is 15 inches in length.
