Civil War Flagpole Topper / SOLD

This is an early battlefield recovery example of the cast bronze flagpole “spearhead” topper from the American Civil War.  The bottom has suffered some trauma and shaft has a lead solder field repair.  Wonderful smooth chocolate brown patina.  Cool Relic!
