Civil War Heavy Artillery Powder Bag - Inventory Number: ART 127 / SOLD

Scarce! The gunpowder would be loaded into this light wool "U" shaped bag, it would then be pierced prior to firing with a friction primer.  This example is beige in color with light blue stitching.  Very good condition overall.  Fine example.   Measures approximately 19 1/4" x 16".
