Civil War Howitzer Worm - Inventory Number: FIR 075 / SOLD

This implement is shaped in a circular form having two branches twisted in screw type fashion.  It was used to clean the debris from the bore of the gun by twisting it after it was inserted.  The worm is attached to its original wooden pole.  Measures 55 5/8".
