A black Japanned tin case, a pair of lieutenant colonel's epaulets with gold bullion fringe, gold metallic tape, silver embroidered Lieutenant Colonel's insignia, red velvet and Morocco leather backing, with brass mounting hardware marked: "Horstmann Brothers & Allien/New York". Wonderful condition throughout.
