Civil War Maple Body "Field" Drum - Inventory Number: MUS 071 / Sold

Classic Civil War era manufactured example with original ropes, ears and heads.  The excellent condition maple body is adorned with 16 ornamental dome brass rivets affixing an 4 ½” circular brass plaque with engraved rings.  The original rope is very pliable, leather ears excellent with two replacements.  The heads have minor tears and are wrinkled on edges.  Overall a great example of the classic Drummer Boy's drum!  Drum measures: 15 ½” x 15”.
