Civil War Money Belt - Inventory Number: CUR 162 / SOLD
Used to secret away currency and valuables, this belt was used by soldier’s and gamblers in the 1860’s. Constructed of chamois with wool trim and red Moroccan leather buttonhole trim. The belt features a vest buckle dated 1855.
Comes housed in 12 inch x 16 inch riker display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
