Civil War Musket Worm

Civil War Musket Worm - This is an excellent original gun worm for a Civil War era rifle.  Used for the cleaning out of the musket bore.  Would have held a wad of tow (the fiber of flax, hemp or jute).  This tow was then used for regular maintenance of bore cleaning.  Could also be used for the extracting a bullet if there was a problem with firing or any other reason needed to pull the bullet out.  Measures approximately 1/8th inches at narrowest point to 3/8 inches.  This is an excellent non-excavated condition musket worm.
