Civil War Pistol Cartridge Box / Sold

This is an original leather cartridge box for the Civil War revolver.  The outer flap is intact and has great markings present.  "US" as well as the maker mark "J. DAVY & CO. NEWARK, NJ".  The brass finial is present on the bottom of the box.  The closure tab is present and in good condition.  On the back side of the box it has both of the original leather loops where the belt would have went through.  The leather has a great color.
