Civil War Snuff Box - Inventory Number:  PER 397 / SOLD

Referred to as the Parker’s patent boxes, these tin oval containers were marketed to carry snuff tobacco.  Soldiers used these use as sewing kits, change purses, drinking filter cases and a variety of other uses for safeguarding small objects.
