Classic wartime shaving mug of steel with tinned plating and exposed solder. This sturdy example features the side compartment for the razor with a hole for drainage. An original piece of soap remains inside the cup, and an old typewritten tag wired to the handle reads “carried by a West Virginia regiment.” The cup measures 3 ¾” tall and 3 ¼” wide. A classic Civil War soldier’s personal item.
