Civil War Umbrella Inkwell - Inventory Number: CAM 427 / SOLD

This Civil War eight-sided ink bottle is in good condition and has a very pleasing aqua color.  It has a wavy build with captured air bubbles.  It measures approximately 2.3 inches across its base and is 2.5 inches in height.  This umbrella inkwell retains a wonderful original; printed label which reads: “Fine Black Ink” with floral scrolls.  Interior retains the dried-out ink, now in powder form.  An incredibly attractive example.
