Excavated brass belt plate recovered from the Battlefield of Fredericksburg, VA. This example has remnants of the lead solder which once held the iron hooks for affixing to a belt. A Classic example of the early war Confederate troops.
Comes housed in 6 inch x 8 inch riker display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
