Early War militia or Confederate clipped corner stamped brass plate measuring 2 5/8” by 1 6/8”. The plate has two holes that may have been the attachment points for a regimental number or company letter. The lot includes two general service eagle buttons and a partially melted Sharps bullet. The relics come in a glass topped, hinged wooden case and were dug in Manassas, Virginia, scene of two major battles and numerous military camps throughout the Civil War.
