Confederate 12 Pound Shell - Inventory Number: CON 227 / SOLD

Confederate 12-pounder spherical case shot for smoothbore cannons. This shell is complete with its orifinal wooden fuse adapter and fuse. Iron surface is clean and lightly pitted. Small drill hole at bottom for deactivation. Recovered from the Battle of Cedar Creek, VA.
