Confederate Bowie Knife - Inventory Number: CON 118 / SOLD 

Wonderful original example of the classic Confederate Bowie.  This example measures 15” overall, with a 10” blade.  The metal is in very good condition with a honest uncleaned patina.  The solid wood grip is lathe turned with a series of circular accent lines.  The iron band and cross-guard are undisturbed.  The blade bears a hand-painted inventory number at the base of the blade from the renown confederate Ben Michele Collection where it has resided for the last several decades.  A beautiful 100% original CS Bowie!
