Confederate Clipped Point Bowie Knife - Inventory Number: CON 376 / SOLD

An attractive example of a Confederate fighting knife measuring 15" overall.  The blade has a clipped point and measures 10 %" long. The bulbus grip is lathe turned and the pommel is seated with a lead insert at the tang. The cross guard and collar are brass. The blade shows some cross-hatching which is indicative of being constructed from a file or rasp. A very presentable example.
