Confederate Enfield Socket Bayonet - Inventory Number:  CON 342 / SOLD

This is a solid example of the socket bayonet for use with the Pattern 1853 Enfield Rifle Musket. This example bears hand engraved inventory numbers on the socket indicative of Southern service.  The bayonet is full length and still quite sharp at the tip. It is 100% complete and retains an original locking ring and tension screw.
