Confederate North Carolina Button - Inventory Number: CON 300 / SOLD

Non-excavated, local manufactured North Carolina 23mm two-piece coat button. The face shows a highly detailed die strike, and the back is unmarked and complete with shank. The button retains nearly all of its original gilt finish. This variety is listed as NC210 in Tice’s button book. A very fine example of a Confederate manufactured North Carolina button. Would be almost impossible to improve on this example!

Comes housed in a 5 x 6 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
