Confederate Tarred Linen Haversack - Inventory Number: CON 383 / SOLD

Scarce example of this classic soldier’s accoutrement.  This example originated from an estate in Georgia and was curled into a ball when discovered it has been conserved in a humidification chamber by the Royal conservation studio to relax it to its natural state.  This example is complete with its original thin cotton sling.
