Confederate Whitworth Rifle Bullet / SOLD

Dropped condition .45 caliber Whitworth bullet recovered from Fort Fisher, NC. The dark gray patina suggests that it was recovered from the water. Whitworth rifles were imported by the Confederacy and prized by those soldiers skilled enough to be issued one. 

Comes housed in a 5 x 6 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
