They don’t get any better than this example. A perfect non-excavated example of the rectangular “Atlanta Arsenal” C.S.A. Belt Plate. Known as the “Atlanta Arsenal” style after the city we believed produced them. This style exhibits thin, long belt hooks, distinctive letters and periods. General Longstreet's Corps were issued these during the winter of 1863 – 1864 while camped in East Tennessee. All three hooks are present and in pristine condition.
