Double Barrel Boot Pistol - Inventory Number: HAN 249 / SOLD

Double barrel Boot Pistol. Some soldiers carried these small pistols to use as a backup and last line of defense. Many were discarded over time. This example features a hardwood “bird’s head” grip and a pair of .36 caliber barrels.  There is a fine hairline crack on the right side of the grip which is stable.  Th mechanics function well, and springs are strong.  The barrel features an oval “E.L.G.*.” marking indicated it was imported during the war.  A very nice example.
