Elastic Razor Strop John Atwell / SOLD

1800's John Atwell Improved Elastic Razor Strap with Cover and Instructions. John Atwell manufactured these elastic razor strops in a workshop behind his home in South Reading, Wakefield, Massachusetts in the mid-late 1800s. The cover retains the original printed instructions. The wooden handles strop device with a razor drawer that is lined with dark velvet and contains an unmarked razor with bone handle and bamboo like design.
