Enfield Nipple Protector / SOLD

The nipple protector was issued on many Enfields imported during the Civil War. It is used to protect the nipple and hammer from damage during an accidental dry fire, and to keep water and debris out of the nipple. This example utilizes a split ring to attach to the rifle.
