577 Caliber example used by Union and Confederate Troops. This bayonet is in good condition and remains a crisp example. The bayonet blade is full-length and still quite sharp at the tip. It retains the original locking ring and tension screw.
Accompanied by its original brass mounted type I scabbard. The leather body is in rough condition and has separated in the center. This is the classic example for the second most issued rifled musket of the civil war.
