Excavated Model 1816 Bayonet / SOLD

Complete bayonet for the Model 1816 .69 caliber musket in excellent dug condition, full length at 19 inches. The digger’s tag notes that it was recovered at a Louisiana Camp, and the notation “BR 10” in white paint inside the socket signifies that it was dug near Bull Run, Virginia. An excellent Confederate used relic.
