    Excavated Model 1853 Enfield Bayonet - Inventory Number: BAY 193 / SOLD

    Complete bayonet in excellent dug condition, full length at 20.5 inches and complete with locking ring. Recovered from Somerville Ford on the Rapidan River in Virginia.  On August 20, 1862, the entirety of Jackson’s wing of Lee’s Army crossed Somerville Ford to commence the Second Manassas campaign.
