Dug U.S. Enlistedman’s belt buckle with a slick dark green/gray patina. Complete with lead fill and arrow style attachment hooks. A very attractive buckle. Excavated in Falmouth, Virginia, site of the Army of the Potomac’s encampment during the winter of 1862-1863.
Comes housed in a 5 x 6 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
