Excavated U.S. Cartridge Box Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 351 / Sold

Dug U.S. box plate in excellent condition. Missing the iron attachment loops but retains 100 percent of lead backing. The plate is perfectly straight and has a mellow brass patina. Recovered from the Battle of Antietam, MD.

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
