Exquisite Silver Sash Buckle - Inventory Number: BEL 515 / SOLD

This silver eagle is stamped from sheet silver with a superbly detailed eagle with wide spread wings.  The plate is fairly lightweight and would have been ornamental for an officer or militia use.  The tongue and hook have been tack soldered together during to keep the two portions together.   A beautiful example of patriotism during the war.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
