Fired Shaler Sectional Bullet / Sold

Scarce Shaler Bullet - Inventory Number: BUL 053 / Sold

This interesting bullet is comprised of two of the three sections of the Shaler which impacted and seated themselves together.  The bullet was designed to separate in mid-air and cause increased casualties.  From the Dean Thomas collection, T-36 Pictured in Volume 1 R1-264, page 209.
