Firth, Pond & Company Civil War Fife / SOLD

Civil War era fife with the maker mark “FIRTH BOND & CO 547 BROADWAY N.YORK” and marked “B” for the key. The company operated from 1847-1863 and was a major supplier of musical instruments to the Union Army. The fife measures 16 ¾” with German silver ferrules. A classic Civil War fife in good, playable condition.
